This text provides a comprehensive study
of the Old Testament Scriptures using four perspectives: literary interpretation,
historical interpretation, theological interpretation, and personal challenge.
To become more familiar with the Bible, students are directed to read
Scripture passages related to the various sections of the text. Each
chapter includes a historical timeline, chapter goals and outline, definitions,
research and creative activities, journaling,
review and disccussion questions, and a short witness biography. Students
are encouraged to be part of a small faith community through faith-sharing
activities.
